"This last weekend I went to a Trampoline park as part of a birthday party for some kid I know… it was AMAZING!
I don’t know why no one thought of this when I was a kid, every kid I ever know wanted a Trampoline! In truth I would guess many people thought of creating Trampoline parks when I was a kid, but most probably agreed that it was a terrible idea given how many people hurt themselves on the blasted contraptions. How many stories’ have you heard about people landing funny or just falling off, or busting something while bouncing on a trampoline, I know I have done all of those things.
Lets talk about my experience instead of why the issuance on these places must be out of this world expensive. Basically there were three activity’s at the location I attended, free bounce where you can bounce around and do flips and jumps and general trampoline stuff, basket ball goals where you could practice dunking with your new found super human jumping ability’s, and most importantly DODGE BALL! Oh Dodge Ball, what a game. It really was fantastic, and exhausting, bouncing and throwing and dodging, but for every drop of sweat and for all the mussel fatigue it was equally enjoyable. Imagine it, one 28-year-old father of three amongst a horde of 6 to 12 year olds. Now I am guessing you all think I would have had some advantage being older, stronger, and wiser then my primary school adversary’s, but don’t be fool, being older in most cases also make you less flexible and slower, and being stronger most likely also comes with being a much larger target, the wiser part is void because a wise man would not sign up to play at a trampoline park.
I wish I had thought to take pictures so you could see the tomfoolery in it’s full glory, but I didn’t and it is probably better for my street cred this way.”
Just had to share this cause damn I wished he could have take pictures of it indeed lol I can only imagine how fun it was and actually pay triple my entry price to see him in action lol
